i have been showing in the hunter jumpers for 7 years now, and i would like to be jumping grand prix in the future (near future, preferably). one of my horses has a lot of potential, and i think she would make a great jumper soon (she's only 7 now, too young to do the bigger jumps), and i was wondering if anyone here has any advice or comments on training, trainers, or just grand prix jumping in general. any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.

my internet is still acting weird. one minute it will work fine, the next it will be having problems. i'm not sure why it's acting like that, but oh well. i'll just have to make the most out of the time i get where it works.

im sooooooo tired right now, i got home from a horse show at 1 in the morning!!! the show ended at 8 at night, and we had to drive the horses back...horrible. try loading a horse in the dark, probably not the best idea, but we had to.

hey guys...maybe you could help me with something...my friend is usually always funny, outgoing, and really fun to be around. latley though, he's been really depressed, and just not himself. he's even started cutting. im trying to get him to feel better and to stop cutting, but i dont know what to do. i know i should tell someone that knows how to deal with that kind of stuff, but i cant. i just dont know what to do to help him. any suggestions??

brightening the subject, my green mare is doing great in training. she is becoming so brave. i tried a scary looking 2'9" oxer with her and she jumped it beautifully on the first try. she is doing great, and i will probably have to stop calling her green. however, latley she has been very dead to my leg. i used to have to only ask once, and she would go too fast, now i have to use a crop sometimes to get her to move on the flat. when we jump, she is speedy, but just doing dressage is painfully slow.

i tried riding one of my horses bareback the other day, and it was fun. it was pretty hard getting on, because the horse was 17 hands, and i am only 5'3"...lets just say the mounting block obviously wasnt as big as i had thought it was. it went well though, once i was on.

i have a question for all you people that show hunters or jumpers. one of my mares is schooling 2'6" at home right now. she can get pretty speedy and that is usually what turns the judges off. if i go to a show, should i enter the 2'6" jumpers class(she hasent done that at a show yet) or should i stick to the 2'3" hunters and save the jumpers for summer? i cant decide, and i would really like to know which one to enter. i already have other horses in hunter classes and a few in jumpers, so it makes no difference to me which one i enter her in.

today i went downtown and coming back the traffic was horrendous (i cant spell) and i missed my training lesson with my mare, but she didn't need it as much as i did, i think. anyways, today people came to take a yearling to their barn and he dint like it. it took them over 3 HOURS to get the little bugger in the trailer, and he still didnt go in!!! it was funny and crazy at the same time, and dangerous. the ground was icey, so they eventually gave up and let him stay at my barn a bit longer, or at least until the ground isnt as slippery. i sure hope he gets over that fear soon. i am trying to decide if i should take my horse to a show in 3 weeks or just skip it. ahh!!! i cant decide..=)

im really bored, so im just going to write a bunch of random crap. my mare abby is going practically insane because ive been too sick to ride her lately. im worried about how hyper she'll be tomorrow when i ride...hmm....that could be a problem. also, all my horses have been inside because the paddock is crap. its all ice and snow and mud and shit. im suppossed to be going to a show with my irish draught horse, dublin, but i might skip it because he has been a been a bit of a pain in the ass lately. im soooo bored though...writing random crap really dosent take up that much time.

ive said some pretty mean things before, but i really cant remember one specific one standing out as the meanest...the funniest and kinda mean thing i said....i made up this song about my cousin (hes a guy) getting aids from a little boy somewhere...then a few people believed me, it was funny and mean at the same time, but im not regreting it one bit!!! jk...maybe just a little...=)

bah! i cant get the stoopidest song out of my head!!! ahhhhh!!! its driving me insane.anyways, i'm trying to decide if i should write a gillington story or not...i dont want it to turn out like crap and for people to hate it tho....hmm....if i should, tell me, and ideas would be greatly appreciated because my ideas are pretty odd....ok, well, thats it. =)
